Advanced Procedures :

  • Colposcopy: A colposcopy with Lugol’s iodine is a diagnostic test where a solution of iodine is applied to the cervix to help identify  abnormal cells, such as precancerous lesion .

  • Infrared Coagulation Therapy: Treats cervical erosion caused by chronic cervicitis, promoting rapid healing with minimal scarring.

  • Cervical Laser Therapy : Laser Pixel CO₂ treatment (also called CO₂ laser ablation or fractional CO₂ laser therapy) is used in gynaecology for several cervical and vaginal conditions, mainly those involving abnormal or damaged cervical tissue.

    Medical indications for using CO₂ laser treatment on the cervix:

    1. Dysplastic conditions
    Cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) — particularly CIN I.
    Used to ablate (destroy) abnormal epithelial tissue after colposcopy identification.

    2. Human papillomavirus (HPV)–related cervical lesions
    CO₂ laser can destroy areas with visible HPV condyloma (warts) or HPV-associated dysplasia.

    3. Benign or chronic conditions
    Chronic cervicitis or cervical ectopy (erosion).
    Used when there’s persistent inflammation or mucous discharge not responding to medical therapy.

    4. Cervical scarring (stenosis) or deformity
    Laser vaporization can help reshape or open the cervical canal in cases of stenosis (narrowing), especially after childbirth or previous surgery.

    5. Cervical polyps or cystic lesions (selected cases)
    CO₂ laser can precisely remove small benign growths.

    6. Post-surgical or atrophic changes
    Atrophic cervicitis (often postmenopausal).
    Fractional laser can stimulate mucosal regeneration and improve tissue health.

    7. Post-LEEP or conization healing support
    Occasionally used for tissue remodelling to enhance healing or smooth scar tissue
