A select few in the medical field transcend traditional practice—they become architects of change. These pioneers reimagine healthcare not as a cold, clinical system, but as a warm, personalized sanctuary of healing. Among them stands Dr. Leila Soudah, Obstetrician-Gynecologist and CEO of the DLS Clinic. Her story is not merely a biography—it is a declaration of empowerment and human dignity.
She draws her strength not from textbooks, but from lived experience, justice, and survival. In a region where women’s health is often approached from a fragmented, male-centric perspective, Dr. Leila rejects the reduction of women to symptoms or statistics. Her approach honors the body, mind, and spirit as one whole. At the heart of her practice lies a single mission:
To ensure every woman feels seen, heard, understood, and profoundly respected.
Resilience Forged in History
Dr. Leila’s resolve emerges from a legacy of endurance rooted in her Palestinian heritage. Her family’s forced displacement from Haifa in 1948 marked the beginning of generational strength. Her mother, left without education, developed a fierce belief in learning as the ultimate shield against suffering.
Despite surviving war, displacement, and scarcity—including the West Bank occupation in 1967 and Black September in 1970—her mother became a model of creativity, resilience, and dignity. This shaped Dr. Leila’s core values: independence, education, and service.
At age 13, an encounter with medical books written by an Egyptian gynecologist awakened her purpose:
“This is what I want to do. I want to help women who have no voice.”
This personal vow solidified during her aunt’s illness, where vulnerability and misunderstanding within the family revealed how deeply women need defenders.
Rise Through Determination
Driven to pursue medicine, Dr. Leila relocated to Germany. She supported herself by working in cleaning services, elder care, and restaurants to pay for school, textbooks, and housing. These years were not a struggle—they were a foundation.
Her perseverance led her to graduate as a physician and specialize in Obstetrics and Gynecology—so she could care for women through every stage of life while restoring dignity to childbirth.
DLS Clinic: Medicine With Soul
The DLS Clinic is not a facility. It is an experience shaped by:
Holistic evaluation that seeks root causes, not surface symptoms
Long consultations that allow women to speak fully
Diagnostic transparency, where patients watch and understand their scans
Advanced hormonal and regenerative therapies
She was the first doctor to introduce Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) in the UAE, advocating against outdated medical fears and promoting internal health and balance.
Her care extends to relationships as well. She encourages supportive partnerships and emotional healing—not just medical treatment.
Leadership Rooted in Action
As both CEO and practicing physician, Dr. Leila ensures care is never rushed. She invests deeply in her staff, uplifting women within her own organization—promoting one former cleaner into a respected administrative role.
Patients call her “Mommy Lulu,” recognizing her as a healer of both body and heart.
A Call for Global Compassion
Her work extends beyond the clinic. She speaks urgently for women suffering in conflict—especially in Gaza.
“Raise your voice and say no.
No to genocide.
No to war.
No to the violation of women.
Say no.”
Her Creed
“I am a woman for women.”
“I am the voice of women who have no voice.”
“I am the power of women who are afraid to speak.”
She stands ready to support every woman who needs her—today and always.
